As a Senior CG Generalist, you will work with our existing team to create a variety of areas to bring our TV/Film work to life.
You will be working to create all elements including assets, environment/scene development, lighting etc. in Maya.
It’s a role built for people who have an eye for bringing together an image and have a good eye for finishing.
This role can be based in either Westby or Manchester, and remote working options are available.
Provide art setup and support for assets created in Maya, performing scene development, optimisation etc.
Use a wide range of skill sets to create CG images or shots. Understand the wider goals of the project and work with the project supervisor to fulfil the needs of a subset within those goals.
Create images using a variety of software, combining the use of artistic and technical skills that best suits you and the needs of the project.
Participate as a senior team member in determining techniques and workflow process.
Be proactive in recommending technical or artistic methods you think will benefit the project.
Work with our VFX supervisor to either devise or ascertain the workflow process for your shots or sequence.
Utilise strong skills in problem solving, attention to detail and final quality.
Good understanding/knowledge of Houdini
Python or mel scripting would also be a plus
