We are looking for an strong communicator with a love of CGI and post production. As the Technical Producer you need to be very proactive and able to establish systems for planning, reporting, and controlling various aspects of production.


Post Covid 19, this role will be based in either Westby or Manchester, & we can also split the time between onsite and work from home. 



  • Plan and schedule resources with the Director and HOD’s to create an effective approach to the visual effects work
  • Head up and take ownership of project reporting, both to stakeholders and to the team itself.
  • Budget and performance tracking on all levels of production on the project
  • Track costs and progress of project by reporting and send weekly to Head of Production & Executive management team
  • Supervise assigned production staff and full management of resources
  • Responsible for ensuring the project delivers on time and to agreed margin
  • Key frontline contact to client
  • Streamlining production processes and workflow
  • Ensure the progression of work to the client’s satisfaction
  • Ensure all facility departments are aware of the production’s requirements, for example disk space and rendering



  • You are currently a Technical Producer, Assistant (or Associate Producer) with a strong technical bias in the video games or VFX industry or a Technical Producer in a non-VFX role with an interest in post production.
  • You can work unsupervised but also know when to ask for help from Senior Management and your peers.
  • You collaborate with production peers to improve standard methodologies and process.
  • You are organised and detail focused.
  • You can identify risks early and build mitigation strategies.
  • Comfortable collaborating and presenting with a multidiscipline team.
  • You are already in a technical specialism but have experience and passion for project management.
  • You have knowledge of different production methodologies.
  • You are experienced in a range of software packages used in the organisation of projects. Game engine management knowledge is a bonus.
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and oral, in English
  • Track record of project planning being successfully executed leading to the timely delivery of quality projects
  • Experience working with external teams and integrating those teams into internal production processes
